Pre/Post session

Before the Session

Preparing for your session is as important as the QHHT, Reiki or Healy session itself. Follow these guidelines to help get the most out of your session.

~ Relax and Reflect

It is important to do your best to try and relax at least 30 minutes before your session. Do what is necessary to quiet your mind as much as you can and remove tension in your body. Regardless of the service you will be receiving, it will be an enjoyable one.

~ Hydrate, Eat, and Hydrate some more

Being hungry during a session is no fun. That is why you are encouraged to eat something light at least an hour before the session. Make sure you take in more water than normal the day before your session. A hydrated body is better able to flush out toxins and hold positive frequencies gained in the session.

~ Get Comfortable

Comfort is key when you are trying to get the most out of your session. Therefore, it is encouraged that you wear loose and breathable clothes. Depending on your comfort level, you may want to remove your shoes during the session, if so, make sure you bring socks so your feet don’t get cold.

After your Session

~ Eat and Hydrate (yes again)

Like discussed up above, hydration is big in moving toxins out of the body. Eating a small snack after your session helps to ground you to the present, so bring a small bag of trail mix or apple to enjoy after the session.

~ Reflect

After the session is a great time to reflect on your experience. In the QHHT session, the practitioner will sit and discuss with you what your experience was, and this can take up to 45 minutes afterward. After the Reiki session, you will need time to process the experience that happened, how your body feels different, and how you move forward with those changes. Regardless of the modality, it is important for you to take some time in quiet to reflect on your experience.
